Traditional wisdom [12] (pp. -) makes
this recommendation to minimize user switching between a mouse and
keyboard. This is even more important from the energy point of
view for handheld computers since text input is much slower for
them. For example, if the range of inputs is known beforehand, a
list can be supplied to ask users to choose, instead of type in,
text.
